As the weekend draws to a close, I am sitting down with a cup of tea to journal and reflect on the week that was. I use my journal to write down my ideas, set my goals and keep track of my emotions.

Journaling is essential for me and I believe it’s vital in keeping my mind clear. I sleep so well after dumping the day out on paper and it sets me up for success for the next day.

Keep it short and sweet or you won’t be game enough to read it the next day (I speak from experience here…I’m known for my long winded stories 😉) and bullet point your thoughts for the day, your plans for tomorrow and close it up. Close it up and give your mind a breather…
